Molly Kath Lewis is a filmmaker and photographer based out of New York City. Her films have screened in various festivals around the country. She has won grants for her narrative and documentary work, most notably;
A Blue Light Haunting was selected and screened at Cucalorus and Sparkcon film festivals (2016).
Awarded the “Filmed in NC” grant through Cucalorus Film Festival to produce Paradise: Downhill Skateboarding,a 16mm skateboarding documentary set in Asheville, North Carolina which later screened at the Chicago Underground Film Festival (2017).
Jackie & Jane was a selection and screened at the Buffalo International Film Festival (2017) .
Mystagogia and Mother Clare on Prayer were screened at the NYC Catholic Underground Spring Film Festival (2023).
Photography and design featured in Arthouse 2B’s “On Virginity” publication (2023).
Together, In Him was screened at the Letter to Artists Short Film Festival in Washington, DC (2024).
Molly’s work has been featured in NC Register and America Magazine and Taylor Steele’s Innersection blog.
